One of the most exiting and beautiful countries in South America situated between the Andes peaks in the west and the southern Atlantic Ocean in the east and south. Its elegant capital, Buenos Aires, is flavored with European sophistication. It has the largest avenue in the world – Avenida 9 de Julio and a unique mix of the colonial and European architecture.

Buenos Aires is not only the great city but also the most sensual – it’s a place where Tango was born, nourished and admired. It is the heart (corazon) of Buenos Aires. You can hear the music of tango everywhere – on the streets, in cafes, restaurants and …milongas – the social scene, party (fiesta) for tango dancers.

My best neighborhood (barrio) to stay: San Telmo (Brasil & Defensa) – Hotel Los 3 Reyes) – inexpenise, clean and nicely located

My Best RestaurantDon Julio (Palermo) – considered by many as the best in the world (great meats and service)

My Best MilongaLa Viruta (Palermo- Armenia 1366) – Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun

Tango & Milonga guide in BA: El Tangauta (paper edition preferred; website: http://www.eltangauta.com)

Best Tango Website: http://www.tangodata.com.ar – classes, spectacles, milongas
